H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Saud Al Qasimi; Crown Prince Of Ras Al Khaimah Inaugurates Daycare Center at Rak Hospital
3rd April, 2012, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE ……….H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Saud Al Qasimi; Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, today inaugurated the first and only dedicated ‘Daycare centre’ in Northern Emirates at RAK Hospital. Spread across 3000 sqft, equipped with ultra-modern facilities and state of the art infrastructure, the centre focuses on Daycare Services, where overnight admissions are not necessary. It includes a wide range of surgeries, consultation with Specialists, preventive health checkups and lifestyle counseling. This 12 bed capacity center plans to perform at least 25% of the total surgeries by motivating patients to undergo minor procedures that allow them to recover faster and return home same day, making it much more economical.

Clinique La Métairie in Nyon successfully passed the SLH certification
We gladly inform, that the Clinique La Métairie successfully passed the SLH certification on October 13th, 2011. Thus, being the 3rd hospital of the French speaking part of Switzerland, La Clinique La Métairie fulfills the demanding quality requirements of SLH and could officially be admitted as member of the independent SLH-group.

Two JCI–Accredited Organizations Win 2011 Hospital Build Awards
Two Joint Commission International–accredited organizations were among the winners of the 2011 Hospital Build Middle East Awards, which were announced 13 June 2011 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. International Medical Center—Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and RAK Hospital, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, took home two of the six awards presented.

Heallth and Social Matters The Clinic Schützen Rheinfelden is 'Top of the Class'
Since the founding of the Clinic Schützen Rheinfelden in 1982 its reputation has extended far beyond patient circles as being of a very high level with regard to quality, hospitality and organizational concept.. For that reason it is a surprise to laymen that the clinic has only now achieved the honour of being adopted into the circle of 'The Swiss Leading Hospitals' (SLH). The CEO, Dr Samuel Rom, and the Clinic Director, Dr Hanspeter Flury, were therefore hugely proud, when last Monday the President off the SLH, Peter Kappert, handed over to them the certificate and plaque as the award for passing the audit with the highest marks.
